Tutorial: Rhombus macrame earring

Macrame rhombus earring

I am not sure if it is an easy or medium project, it is up to you. This is not difficult, I am sure. The first few steps are repeated. If you are confused, then go back to the first steps and hopefully it will help you.

Start with the short cord through the earring closure.

Used materials:

  • 1 pair of earring closures;
  • 1 x 30cm waxed polyester cord (1mm) / earring;
  • 8 x 60cm waxed polyester cord (1mm) / earring.

You will also need:

  • a workboard (mine is a covered swimming board);
  • scissors;
  • pins;
  • and a lighter.

Click on the first thumbnail and you can click the left/right arrows to the previous/next step:

If you would like to make bigger rhombus, then you only have to add 1-1 more cords when you are at the middle of the earring.

Happy knotting! 🙂
