Tutorial: Red beaded earring

Macramotiv macrame knotted earring tutorial DIY

This macrame earring is a result of playing with the knotted lines’ direction.

The shape of the left and right sides of the earring is some kind of a stepped pattern.

You can make two completely identical earrings or you can mirror the pattern to have a left and right piece.

When you are at about to finishing the earring you have to cautiously adjust the whole piece with your hands to add a nice and flat shape to it.

You can knot a pendant if you make it with larger beads and more cords.

I think changing the direction can help everyone to understand the nature of macrame and it is making your knotting skills improving. 🙂

I used 1mm braided waxed polyester cord.
